AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 89-012, PASSED ON
THE 13TH DAY OF MARCH, 1989, PERMITTING TIME TO SELL OR
SUBMIT A PLAN TO RESTORE THE STRUCTURE OTHERWISE DECLARED
DILAPIDATED AT 264 SOUTH MAIN STREET, LOT 6, CITY BLOCK 178a,
BELONGING TO JOHN SCARBOROUGH, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE OF MAY 14, 1990.
WHEREAS, Hardy Moore, representing John Scarborough,
appeared before the City Council at its Regular Meeting on
the 9th day of April, 1990 and requested that John
Scarborough be granted a six month extension to sell or
submit a plan to restore the structure heretofore declared to
be dilapidated at 264 South Main Street, Lot 6, City B1ock
178A, since Mr. Scarborough has a contract for sale on this
property; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris deems it
to be in the best interest of the City of Paris that John
Scarborough be given an extension of six months, beginning
March 12, 1990, to se11 or submit a plan to restore the
structure at number 264 South Main Street, Lot 6, City Block
178A; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That John Scarborough be given an extension
of six months, beginning March 12, 1990, to sell or submit a
plan to restore the structure at 264 South Main Street, Lot
6, City Block 178A, from the date set out in Section 3 of
Ordinance No. 89-012 to September 12, 1990.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective on
May 14, 1990.
Passed and adopted this 14th day of May, 1990.
