90-024 ORD PROVIDING CODE OF ORDINANCES BE AMENDED BY REVISING TRAFFIC CONTROL MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 31-65 OF SAID CODE
ORDINANCE N0. 90-024
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PAIZIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS BE
ANiENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC-CONTRQL MAP ADOPTED IN
PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 31-65 OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR A
PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL URDINANCES OR
PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF SEP'TEMBER l, 1990.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF' PARIS:
Section l. That the Traffic Control Device Map adopted
in Paragraph (b) of Section 31-65 of the Code of Ordinances
ot the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended to include the
following stop signs:
"Stop Fairfax Street at 12th Street N.E. from
the East and West."
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions
of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Misdemeanor, and upon
conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200.00.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance sha11 become effective on
September 1, 1990.
