AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY
THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT
(C) ON LOT 13, CITY BLOCK 222-A, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO GEORGE
0. FISHER, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED
AS A GErdERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES
OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by
the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same is hereby established
on LOT 13, CITY BLOCK 222-A, on property belonging to GEORGE O.
FISHER, so as to include in such COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the
hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is
presently designated as a GENERAL RETAII. DISTRICT (GR), and that
the boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same
are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the City
of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and
being Beginning at the intersection of the North
Boundary Line of Lamar Avenue with the West Boundary
Line of 25th N.E.
Thence 4Jest with the North Boundary Line of Lamar
Avenue, a distance of 208 feet to a point, the
southwest corner of Lot 13, City Block 222-A;
Thence North a distance of 208 feet to a point,
the northwest corner of said Lot 13;
Thence East a distance of 208 feet to a point in
the West Boundary Line of 25th N.E., said point being
the Northeast corner of said Lot 13;
Thence South with the West Boundary Line of 25th
N.E. a distance of 208 feet to the place of beginning.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of
the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the
Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions
of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same,
and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris,
in regular session convened, in the Council Room, City Hall,
