AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY
THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A ONE FAMILY DWELLING
DISTRICT N0. 3(SF-3) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - LODGE (17) ON
EAST 1/2 OF LOTS 2 AND 4, BLOCK 0, EAST PARK ADDITION, ON
PROPERTY BELONGING TO JESSE L. MATHIS, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN
TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT
N0. 3(SF-3); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE ONE FAMILY
DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 3(SF-3) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - LODGE
(17) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by
the Zoning Map anu Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
Paris, Texas, be, and the same are tiereby changed, and that a ONE
FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 3(SF-3) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT -
LODGE (17), be, and the same is hereby established on East 1/2 OF
LOTS 2 AND 4, BLOCK 0, EAST PARK ADDITION, on property belonging
to JESSE L. MATHIS, so as to include in such ONE FAMILY DWELLING
DISTRICT N0. 3(SF-3) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - LODGE (17) the
hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is
presently designated as a ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 3
(SF-3), and that the boundaries of said ONE FAMILY DWELLING
DISTRICT N0. 3(SF-3) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - LODGE (17), be,
and the same are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the City
of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and
being All that certain tract or parcei of land,
situated in the County of Lamar and State of Texas, and
being a part af the Redding Russell Survey, and being
the East 1/2 of Lots 2 and 4 in Block 0 of the East
park Addition to Lamar County, Texas, and being
described by metes and bounds as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the West Boundary
Line of 12th Street N.E. with the East Boundary Line of
Hickory Street, a stake, the Northeast corner of LoL- 2
in Block 0;
Thence South 105 feet, the Southeast corner of Lot
4 in Block 0;
Thence West with the South Boundary Line of Lot 4,
Block 0, £312 feet;
Thence North 105 feet to the South Boundary Line
of Hickory Street;
Thence East with the South Boundary Line of
Hickory Street, 812 feet to the place of beginning.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of
the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the
Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions
of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same,
and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris,
in regular session convened, in the Council Room, City Hall,
Paris, Texas, on this the 13th day,of.,March, 1989.
