AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY
THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL
DISTRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - BILLBOARD SIGN ON LOT
2A, CITY BLOCK 315, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO CARLES STERLING, SO
AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A GENERAL
RETAIL DISTRICT (GR); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE
GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE PER.r1IT - BILLBOARD
SiGN SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by
the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a
GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) APJD SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - BILLBOARD
SIGN , be, and the same is hereby established on LOT 2A, CITY
BLOCK 315, on property beloriging to CARLES STERLING, so as to
include in such GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC USF
PERMIT - BILLBOARD SIGN the hereinafter described property,
which was formerly and is presently designated as a GENERAL
RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), and that the boundaries of said GENERAL
RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - BILLBOARD SIGN ,
be, and the same are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the City
of Paris, County of Lanar, and State of Texas, and
being Situated within the corporate limits of the City
of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and
being Lot 2A, City Block 315
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of
the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the
Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions
of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same,
and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted b_y the City Council of the City of Paris,
in regular session convened, in the Council Room, City Ha11,
Paris, Texas, on this the 13th day of March, 1989.
