AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIUING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARI9, BE
AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 21-11(a) TO SAID CODE; PRO-
HIBITING ENTRY INTO THE OLD CEMETERY OF PAKIS LURING CERTAIN
HOURS; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $500.00;
RF,PEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDIIV'ANCES IN CONFLICT
IiEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF riAY 1,
1989.
BE IT ORDAINED IiY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:

Section l. That Section 21-11 of the Code of
Ordinances of the Citp of Paris, Paris, Texas, be added so
that such shall read as follows:
"Sec. 21-11. Hours of Old Cemetery of Paris.
(a) It sha11 be unlawful for any person to
enter or remain on the Old Cemetery of Paris
commonly known as the 01d City Cemetery, which is
bounded on the North by the 500 block of West
Cherry Street and on the West by the 400 block of
6th N. W. Street which runs from Graham Street
North to West Cherry Street, between the hours of
8:00 o'clock P.M. and 8:00 o'clock A.M. during the
months of May through September and between the
hours of 6:00 o'clock P.M. and 8:00 o'clock A.M.
during the months of October through Apri1."
Section 2. Any persan violating any of the pro-
visions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Misdemeanor,
and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed
$500.00, and each and every day's continuance of any
violation of the above enumerated section sha11 constitute
and be deemed a separate of_fense.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
May l, 1989.
