AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY
I'HE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A MULTI-FAMILY
DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 1(MF-1) ON LOT 6, CITY BLOCK 31, ON
PROPERTY BELONGING TO MIKE RHODES, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN
TERRITORY FORMERLY DESTGNATED AS A TWO FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT
(2F); AND DESIGNATING TFiE BOUNDARIES OF THE MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING
DISTRICT N0. 1(MF-1) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY aF PARIS:
Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by
the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 af the City of Paris,
Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a
MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 1(MF-1), be, and the same is
hereby established on LOT 6, CITY BLOCK 31, on property belonging
to MIKE RHODES, so as to include in such MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING
DISTRICT N0. 1(MF-1) the hereinafter described property, which
was formerly and is presently designated as a TWO FAMILY DWELLING
DISTRICT (2F), and that the boundaries of said MULTI-FAMILY
DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 1(MF-1), be, and the same are hereby
established as foliows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the City
of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and
being Being Lot 6, City Block 31, in the City of Paris,
Lamar County, Texas, and more particularly described as
follows:
BEGINNING at the intersection of the North
Boundary Line of E. Houston Street with the West
Boundary Line of lOth N.E.;
THENCE West with the North Boundary Line of E.
Houston Street, a distance of 75 feet to a point;
THENCE North, a distance of 154 feet to a point;
THENCE East, a distance of 75 feet to a point in
the West Boundary Line of lOth N.E.;
THENCE South, with the West Boundary Line of lOth
N.E., a distance of 154 feet to the place of beginning.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of
the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the
Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions
of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same,
and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris,
in regular session convened, in the Council Room, City Hall,
Paris, Texas, on this the 8th day o 4y, 1989.
