AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY
THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT-
RETAIL RETAIL AND HOUSING DISTRICT (PD a.-b) ON LOTS 13 AND 14-A,
BLOCK 315, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO GE012GE LOCKE, SO AS TO

DEVELOPMEN
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by
the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a
PLANNED DEVELOPMENT-RETAIL AND HOUSING DISTRICT (PD a-b), be, and
the same is hereby established on LOTS 13 AND 14-A, CITY BLOCK
315, on property belonging to GEORGE LOCKE, so as to include in
such PLANNED DEVELOPMENT-RETAIL AlV'D HOUSING DISTRICT (PD a-b) the
hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is
presently designated as a GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), and that
the boundaries of said PLANNED DEVELOPMENT-RETAIL AND HOUSING
DISTPeICT (PD a-b), be, and the same are hereby established as
follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the City
of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and
being Being a part of the E. Crow Survey, Lamar County,
Texas, and more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the North Boundary Line of
Lamar Avenue (U.S. Hwy. 82). Said point being the
Southeast corner of Lot 1, Block B of Sunrise Estates
and the Southwest corner of the George Locke tract;
THENCE North with the West line of the Locke
tract, a distance of 361.9 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE East, 210 feet to a point;
THENCE S 78° 05' East, 23.57 feet to a point;
THENCE 18° 13' East, 162.54 feet to a point;
THENCE S 2° 58' East, 186.82 feet to a point in
the North Boundary Line of Lamar Avenue.
THENCE West along the North Boundary Line of Lamar
Avenue, a distance of. 280.73 feet to the place of
beginning.
Section 2. The site plan of the property herein
re-zoned, which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, is approved.
Section 3. That the Director of Community Development of
the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the
Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions
of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same,
and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
