AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CI1'Y
OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY
THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT (LI) ON LOT 2B-1, CITY BLOCK 281, ON PROPERTY &ELONGING
TO DAN BLOUNT, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY
DESIGNATED AS A ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 3(SF-3); AND
DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI)
SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by
the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a
LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI), be, and the same is hereby
established on LOT 2B-1, CITY BLOCK 281, on property belonging to
DAN BLOUNT, so as to include in such LIGHT INUUSTRIAL DISTRICT
(LI) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and
is presently designated as a ONE FA11,1ILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 3
(SF-3), and that the boundaries of said LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT
(LI), be, and the same are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the City
of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and
being Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City
of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part
of the Reddin Russell Survey #786, and being a part of
a 5.83 acre tract of land conveyed Producers Livestock
Exchange, Inc., by deed recorded in Vol. 650, Page 633,
of the Deed Records of said County and State.
BEGINNING at an iron pin for corner in the South
Boundary Line of Clement Road at the Northwest corner
of said 5.83 acre tract of land, said point for corner
also being the Northeast corner of a 1.900 acre tract
of land conveyed Danny G. Blount by deed recorded in
Vol. 629, Page 834, of said Deed Records;
THENCE North 89 Deg. 45 Min. East parallel to and
SO ft. South of the center of Clement Road a distance
of 108 ft. to an iron pin for corner;
THENCE along the center of a SO ft. Channel
Easement as follows: South 1 Deg. 10 Min. West a
distance of 360 ft.; South 46 Deg. 23 Min. East a
distance of 190 ft.; South 3 Deg. 57 Min. East a
distance of 47 ft, to an iron pin for corner in the
South Boundary Line of said 5.83 acre tract of land;
THENCE North 89 Deg. 10 Min. West a distance of
233 ft. to an iron pin for corner at the Southwest
corner of said 5.83 acre tract of land, and the South-
east corner of said 1.900 acre tract of land;
THENCE North 0 Deg. 55 Min. Glest a distance of 534
ft. to the place of beginning and containing 1.568
acres of land.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of
the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the
Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions
of Ordiiiance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same,
and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance sha11 become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris,
in regular session convened, in the Council Room, City Ha11,
Paris, Texas, on this the 8th day of---May, 1989.
