89-038 ORD PROVIDING CODE OF ORDINANCES BE REVISED BY AMENDING SECTION 16-42 OF SAID CODE
ORDINANCE N0. 89-038
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE
ANiENDED BY REVISING SECTION 16-42 OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING
FOR AN INCREASE IN RESIDENTIAL SOLID WASTE SERVICE FEE;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF OKDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR COLLECTION OF SUCH FEE ON ALL
ACCOUNTS BILLED AFTER OCTOBER 2, 1989.
BE IT URDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That Section 16-42 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so
that such shall read as follows:
"Sec. 16-42. Rate.
The division shall collect six dollars ($6.00)
for each residential water meter customer. A
residential water meter customer who dwells in a
multifamily complex consisting of four (4) units or
more whose lancilord has an annual trash service
contract with an approved commercial trash
collector is entitled to make application to the
water billing office to reduce their solid waste
service fee rate from six dollars ($6.00) to one
dollar ($1.00). The division shall collect one
dollar and fifteen cents ($1.15) for each
commercial and industrial water meter customer."
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective
with such billings after October 2, 1989.
