AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY
THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT (LI) ON LO'TS 5 and 6, BLOCK 1, NEAGLE ADDITION, ON
PROPERTY BELONGING TO WILLIAM E. THOMAS, SR., SO AS TU INCLUDE
THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT
(C); AND DESIGNATING THE BGUNDARIES OF THE LIGHT INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT (LI) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by
the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a
LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (:LI), be, and the same is hereby
established on LOTS 5 and 6, BLOCK 1, NEAGLE ADDITION, on
property belonging to WILLIAM E. THOMAS, SR., so as to include in
such LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) the hereinafter described
property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), and that the boundaries of said LIGHT
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI), be, and the same are hereby established
as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the City
of Paris, County of Lamar, ancl 5tate of Texas, and
being Lots 5 and 6, Block 1, Neagle Addition, located
on the northeast corner af South Main Street and Neagle
Street.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of
the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the
Zoning Map of the City ot Paris in accordance with the provisions
of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same,
and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. A11 ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance sha11 become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris,
in regular session convened, in the Council Room, City Hall,
Paris, Texas, on this the llth day ember, 1989.
