AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY
THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RE1'AIL
DISTRICT (GR) ON PART OF LOTS 1 AND 2, BLOCK A, BAKER ADDITION,
ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO DANNY BALL, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN
TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A OFFiCE DISTRICT (0); AND
UESIGNATING THE FsOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) SU
ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section l. That the baundaries heretofore established by
the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a
GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GK), be, and the same is hereby
established on PART OF LOTS 1 AND 2, BLOCK A, BAKER ADDITION, on
property belonging to DANNY BALL, so as to include in such
UENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) the hereinafter described property,
which was formerly and is presently designated as a OFFICE
DISTRICT (0), and that the boundaries of said GENERAL RETAIL
DISTRICT (GR), be, and the same are hereby established as
follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the City
of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and
being Lots 1 and 2, Block A, Baker Addition, save and
except the south 60 feet of said lots, located at 2240
Clarksville Street.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of
the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the
Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions
of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same,
and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris,
in regular session convened, in the Council Room, City Hall,
Paris, Texas, on this the llth day D cember, 1989.
