AN ORDINANCE CLOSING PINE BLUFF STREET, FROM THE WEST
RIUHT-OF-WAY LINE OF 28th STREET N.E., WEST TO THE EAST
RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF COLLEGIATE DRIVE; DECLARING NO NECESSITY
OR NEED OF SAID STREET FOR CITY USE OTHER THAN FOR A UTILITY
EASEMENT, WHICH IS EXPRESSLY RETAINED BY THE CITY OF PARIS;
AND PROVIDING FUR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JANUARY l, 1990.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the
City Council of the City of Paris, that Pine Bluff Street,
beginning approximately at the West right-of-way Iine of 28th
Street N.E., West to the East right-of-way Line of Collegiate
Drive is of no use as a street to the City of Paris or to its
citizens, but is of use and necessary to the City of Paris
and its citizens for utility easement purposes, and the City
Council so finds; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That Pine Bluff. Street, beginning
approximately at the West right-of-way line of 28th
Street N.E., West to the East right-of-way Line of Collegiate
Drive described in Exhibit A attached hereto, is hereby
closed, with the City of Paris retaining a utility easement.
Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective on
January 1, 1990.
Passed and adopted this llth day of December, 1989.

BETWEEN COLLEGIATE DRIVE AND 28th STREET N.E.
BEGINNING at the Northeast corner of Lot 1,
Block 8, Springlake Addition, same being in the
West Boundary Line of 28th Street N.E.
THENCE, West 108.7 feet to a point in the East
Boundary Line of North Collegiate Drive, same being
the Northwest corner of Lot l, Block Springlake
Addition;
THENCE, North 40 feet to a point, the
Southwest corner of Lot 4, Block 7, Springlake
Addition;
THENCE, East 109.0 feet to a point in the West
Boundary Line of 28th Street N.E., same being the
Southeast corner of Lot 4, Block 7, Springlake
Addition;
THENCE, South 40 feet to the place of
beginning.
