88-010 ORD PROVIDING CODE OF ORDINANCES BE AMENDED BY REVISING TRAFFIC-CONTROL DEVICE MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29-80 OF SAID CODE
ORDINANCE N0. 88-010
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIUING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS, RF. AMENDED BY REVISING THF TRAFFIC-CONTROL DEVICE MAP
ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPN (b) OF SECTION 29-80 OF SAID CODE;
PROVIDING FOR A PEPdALTY NQT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF MARCH l, 1988,
BE IT QRDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That the Traffic-Control Device Map adopted
in Paragraph (b) of Section 29-80 of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Paris be amended to include stop sig,ns as
follows:
"Stop 42nd S. E. at Lamar Avenue, from the
North and South;
Stop llth N. E. at East Grove Street, from
the North and South."
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions
of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C"
Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum
not to exceed $200.00.
Section 3. All ordinar_ces or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
Apri_1 1, 1988.
