AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A 20 MILE PER HOUR SPEED
LINIT ON CERTAIN PORTIONS OF STILLHOUSE ROAD; PROVIDING FOR
A FINE NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR
PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PP.OVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JULY 1, 1988.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That a speed limit of 20 miles per hour
shall be established on those portions of the street herein-
after described:
Beginning 750 feet North of the North boundary
line of Loop 286, thence North 1000 feet on Stillhouse
Road. Said 20 M.P.H. Speed Limit to be posted from
7:30 A.M. until 8:30 A.M. and from 3:15 P.M. until 4:15
P.M. each school day.
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions
of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C"
Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum
not to exceed $200.00.
Section 3. Al1 ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shal_1 become effective on
.7uly 1, 1988.
