AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF' PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDII`1G THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC-CONTROL DEVICE MAP
ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29-80 of SAID CODE:
PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALI,
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH: AND
PROViDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JULY l, 1988.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That the Traffic-Control Device Map adopted
in Paragraph (b) of Section 29' 80 of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Paris be amended to include stop signs as
follows:
"Stop West Cherry at 4th Street N.W. from the East
and West."
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions
of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C"
Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum
not to exceed $200.00.
Section 3. Al1 ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
July l, 1988.
