87-001 ORD PROVIDING CODE OF ORDINANCES BE AMENDED BY REVISING TRAFFIC NO-PARKING MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (c) OF SECTION 29-112 OF SAID CODE
ORDINANCE N0. 87-001
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS
BE AMENDED RY REVISING THE TRAFFIC NO-PARKING MAP ADOPTED IN
PARAGRAPH (c) OF SECTION 29-112 OF SAID CODE; ESTABLISHING A
NO PARKING AREA; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED
$200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIPING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF
FEBRUARY l, 1987.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That the Traffic No Parking Map adopted in
Paragraph (c) of Section 29-112 of the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended to include the
following No Parking area:
"On the South side of East Booth Street from
the East Boundary Line of 2nd N.W. East to the
West Boundary Line of 3rd N.E. Street."
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions
of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C"
Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum
not to exceed $200.00.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
February 1, 1987.
