87-002 ORD PROVIDING CODE OF ORDINANCES BE AMENDED BY REVISING TRAFFIC-CONTROL DEVICE MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29-80 OF SAID CODE

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PRQVIDING THAT THE CODE QF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS
BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC-CONTROL DEVICE MAP
ADOPTFD IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTIOIV' 29-80 OF SAID CODE;
PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFZ,ICT HEREWITH; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF FEBRUARY 1, 1987.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF 'rHE CITY OF
PARIS:
Sectian I. That the Traffic Control Device Map adopted
in Paragraph (b) of Section 29-80 of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended to include
the following stop sign:
"Stop, lst N.E. Street at East Provine, f_rom
the North."
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions
of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C"
Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum
not to eYCeed $200.00.
Section 3. Al1 ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
February 1, 1987.
