AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXA.S AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES
ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT-BILLBOARD
SIGN (52) QN LOT 5, S.S.L.A. ADDITION, ON PROPERTY BELONGING
TO HERMAN BAILEY SIGN CO., SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN
TERRITORY FORAZERLY DESIGNATED AS A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C);
AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT
(C) ANU SPECIFIC USE PERMIT-BILLBOARD SIGN (52) SO
ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED EY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established
by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed,
and that a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND SPECIFIC USE
PERMIT-BILLBOARD SIGN (52), be, and the same is hereby
established on LOT 5, S.S.L.A. ADDITION, on property
belonging to HERMAN BAILEY SIGN CQ., so as to include in
such COMMERCIAL DISTR.ICT (C) AND SPECIFIC USE
PERMIT-BILLBOARD SIGN (52) the hereinafter described
property, which was formerly and is presently designated as
a CQMMERCIA? DISTRICT (C), and that the boundaries of said
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT-BILLBOARD
SIGN (52), be, and the same are herebv established as
follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the
Citv of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of
Texas, and being Lot 5, S.S.L.A. Addition to the
City of Paris as shown on plat of said addition
rec:orded i_n Plat Records, Lamar County, Texas.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development
of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to
change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance
with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use
map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the
provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris, in regular session convened, in the Council Room,
City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 9th day of February,
1987.
