ORDINANCE N0. 87-015
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS
BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC-CONTROL DEVICE MAP
ADOPTED IN PAR.AGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29-80 OF SAID CODE;
PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; KEPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES OR PARTS QF QRDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF APRIL l, 1987.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CQUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PART_S :
Section l. That the Traffic Control Device Map adopted
in Paragraph (b) of Section 29-80 of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended to include
the following stop signs:
"Stop, 20th N.W. and West Walker, fram the
South.
"Stop, Loop 286 and Dawn, from the East."
traffic.
"Stop, 25th N.E. and Hickory, from the
South."
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions
of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C"
Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum
not to exceed $200.00.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict h.erewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
April l, 1987.
