87-033 ORD AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO 1710 AND CHANGING BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY ON LOT 17 CITY BLOCK 222-A ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO RODGER PRICE ORDINANCE N0. $7-03a AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 1(MF-1) ON LOT 17, CITY BLOCK 222-A, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO RODGER PRICE, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE- FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. I (MF-1) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Urdinance No. 1710 of the City oi Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 1(MF-1), be, and the same is hereby established on LOT 17, CITY BLOCK 222-A, on property belonging to RODGER PRICE, so as to include in such MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 1(MF-1) the h.ereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 1(MF-1), be, and the same are hereby estabZished as follows: Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and being described as follows: FIRST TRACT: A part of `the Geo. W. Cox Survey on the South side of East Price Street; BEGINNING at a point on East Price Street, same being the NE corner of a lot purchased by J. E. Higgs from W. A. Higgs, Book 190, Page 321, Lamar County Deed Records; THENCE WEST 50 feet a stake; THENCE SOUTH 2572 feet a stake; THENCE EAST 50 feet a stake; THENCE NORTH 257k feet to the place of beginning. SECOND TRACT Being a part of the Geo. W. Cox Survey, being the tract allotted to Mary E. Ingram and J. T. Mullins jointly in the partition deed dated November 15th, 1913, and recorded in Book 149, Page 481, Lamar County Deeci Records; BEGINNING at the NE corner of second tract allotted to Mrs. Nancy W. Mullins in the partition deed above referred to a stake in the SB line of Price Street; THENCE EAST 51 3/4 feet to a stake in SB line of Pri.ce Street; THENCE SOUTH 307L feet to stake in NB line of East Paris School lot; THENCE WEST 51 3/4 feet to NW corner of said School lot; THENCE NORTH 3072 feet to the place of beginning. Being the same property as described in Deed from The First National Bank of Paris to M. D. Ariderson, dated July 17, 1937, of record in Book 249, Page 254, Lamar County Deed Records. THIRD TRACT: Being a part of the Geo. W. Cox Survey and being described as follows: BEGINNING at a stake on the South Boundary Line of East Price Street at the Northwest corner of a certain lot described in deed from L. Townsend and wife, to J. D. Givens on June 26, 1918, deed recorded in Vol. 171, Page 265, deed records of Lamar County, Texas; THENCE WEST with the South boundary line of East Price Street 51 3/4 feet, more or less, a stake, the Northeast: corner of a lot now owned by M. D. Anderson; THENCE 3062 feet, more or less the North Boundary Line of the East Paris School lot; THENCE EAST 51 3/4 feet, more or less a stake; THENCE NORTH 3062 feet, more or less to the place of beginning. Being the same property as described in Deed from Delilah Herring, et al, to M. D. Anderson, dated March 14, 1938, of record in Book 250, Page 220, Lamar Countg Deed Records. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. Al1 ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Sectior. 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage. Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris, in regular session convened, in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 13th day ot July, 1987.
