ORDINANCE N0. $7-045 AIvT ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CER1'AIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY QF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND APPROPRIATE ZONING UPON ANNEXATION, AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARING. BE IT URDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That a public hearing be held by and before the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, in special session convened on the 28th day of September, 1987, at 6:00 o'clock p.m., at the residence of Clyde Darnell located on the South side of FM Hwy 195, Lamar County, Texas, within the subject area; giving all interest- ed persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation and appropriate zoning upon annexation of the following described property: Being situated in the Wesley Askins Survey, Lamar County, Texas and more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the South boundary line of F.M. Highway No. 195, said point being the common property corner of the Clyde Darnell and Buck Rader tracts and being opposite centerline station 119+80 of said F.M. Highway No. 195 and being in the present city limit line of the City of Paris ; THENCE Northeasterly with the South boundary line of F.M. Highway No. 195, 2820 feet more or less to the Northeast corner of a 5.15 acre tract of land conveyed to Dean Jones and recorded in Vol 636, Page 283, Deed Records of Lamar County, Texas; THENCE South with the East boundary litze of said Jones 5.15 acre tract, 686 feet to a point, the Northwest corner of a tract of land conveyed Charley A. Smith and wife, Ruth Smith by deed recorded in Vol. 295, Page 311 of said Deed Records; THENCE Easterly with the North line of said Smith tract and its easterly extension, 1,220 feet more or less to the Northeast corner of a 7 acre tract of land conveyed to W. L. Kelly and wife, Inez Kelley, recorded in Vol. 594, Page 229 of said Deed Records; THENCE South with the East line of said Kelly tract, 762 feet more or less to a point in the South boundary line of Smallwood Road, said point being in the present city limit line of the City of Paris; THENCE with the present city limit line, the following: THENCE West with the South boundary line of Smallwood Road, 1,420 feet more or less to the Northwest corner of a tract of land owned by B. F. Reed and the most Northerly Northwest corner of the Elk Hollow Golf Course property; THENCE South with the Reed-Elk Hollow Golf Course common property line, 540 feet more or less to the Southeast corner of said Reed tract and an inside corner of the Elk Hollow Golf Course;
