<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. $7-045 <br /> <br /> <br /> AIvT ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR A <br /> PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS <br /> ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CER1'AIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY <br /> QF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND APPROPRIATE ZONING UPON <br /> ANNEXATION, AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO <br /> PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARING. <br /> BE IT URDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> Section 1. That a public hearing be held by and <br /> before the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, <br /> in special session convened on the 28th day of September, <br /> 1987, at 6:00 o'clock p.m., at the residence of Clyde <br /> Darnell located on the South side of FM Hwy 195, Lamar <br /> County, Texas, within the subject area; giving all interest- <br /> ed persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed <br /> annexation and appropriate zoning upon annexation of the <br /> following described property: <br /> <br /> Being situated in the Wesley Askins Survey, <br /> Lamar County, Texas and more particularly <br /> described as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at a point in the South boundary <br /> line of F.M. Highway No. 195, said point being the <br /> common property corner of the Clyde Darnell and <br /> Buck Rader tracts and being opposite centerline <br /> station 119+80 of said F.M. Highway No. 195 and <br /> being in the present city limit line of the City <br /> of Paris ; <br /> THENCE Northeasterly with the South boundary <br /> line of F.M. Highway No. 195, 2820 feet more or <br /> less to the Northeast corner of a 5.15 acre tract <br /> of land conveyed to Dean Jones and recorded in Vol <br /> 636, Page 283, Deed Records of Lamar County, <br /> Texas; <br /> THENCE South with the East boundary litze of <br /> said Jones 5.15 acre tract, 686 feet to a point, <br /> the Northwest corner of a tract of land conveyed <br /> Charley A. Smith and wife, Ruth Smith by deed <br /> recorded in Vol. 295, Page 311 of said Deed <br /> Records; <br /> THENCE Easterly with the North line of said <br /> Smith tract and its easterly extension, 1,220 feet <br /> more or less to the Northeast corner of a 7 acre <br /> tract of land conveyed to W. L. Kelly and wife, <br /> Inez Kelley, recorded in Vol. 594, Page 229 of <br /> said Deed Records; <br /> THENCE South with the East line of said Kelly <br /> tract, 762 feet more or less to a point in the <br /> South boundary line of Smallwood Road, said point <br /> being in the present city limit line of the City <br /> of Paris; <br /> THENCE with the present city limit line, the <br /> following: <br /> THENCE West with the South boundary line of <br /> Smallwood Road, 1,420 feet more or less to the <br /> Northwest corner of a tract of land owned by B. F. <br /> Reed and the most Northerly Northwest corner of <br /> the Elk Hollow Golf Course property; <br /> THENCE South with the Reed-Elk Hollow Golf <br /> Course common property line, 540 feet more or less <br /> to the Southeast corner of said Reed tract and an <br /> inside corner of the Elk Hollow Golf Course; <br />
