87-061 ORD PROVIDING REPEAL OF ORDINANCE NO 2275 OF COP

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ORDINANCE N0. 2275 OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND DECLARING THE SAME TO BE NULL
AND VOID AND OF NO EFFECT; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS
OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE OF OCTOBER 19, 1987.
WHEREAS, the property described in the franchise
granted in Ordinance No. 2275 is no longer needed and used
by The Liberty National Bank in Paris, Paris, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, such franchise should be repealed; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 2275 of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, which granted franchise to The LibPrty
National Bank in Paris, Paris, Texas, is hereby repealed and
declared null and void and of no effect.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective on
October 19, 1987.
