<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. $7-068 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE <br /> CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES <br /> ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A <br /> COMNiERCIAL DISTRICT (C) UN LOTS 8 AND 10, CITY BLOCK 313, ON <br /> PROPERTY BELONGING TO DAVID GLASS, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN <br /> TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT <br /> (A); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL <br /> DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> <br /> Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established <br /> by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of <br /> Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, <br /> and that a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same is <br /> hereby established on LOTS 8 AND 10, CITY BLOCK 313, on <br /> property belonging to DAVID GLASS, so as to include in such <br /> COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter described property, <br /> which was formerly and is presently designated as an <br /> AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A), and that the boundaries of said <br /> CONNERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same are hereby <br /> established as follows: <br /> Situated within the corporate limits of the <br /> City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of <br /> Tex.as, and being a certain tract or parcel of land <br /> situated about 3 miles East from the City of <br /> Paris, County of Lamar and State of Texas, a part <br /> of the Joseph Leach Survey and being further <br /> described as follows; <br /> BEGINNIrdG at a stake for corner in the South <br /> Boundary Line of U. S. Highway No. 82, said point <br /> being the Northeast corner of a tract of land <br /> conveyed W. H. Peterson by S. E. Smith and wife on <br /> November 22, 1929, and of record in Book 224, Page <br /> 506 of_ the Deed Records of said County and State; <br /> THENCE North 89 Degrees 31 Minutes East a <br /> distance of 141.2 feet to an iron pin for corner; <br /> THENCE South 1 Degree 45 Minutes East a <br /> distance of 250 feet to an iron pin for corner; <br /> THENCE North 89 Degrees 31 Minutes East a <br /> distance of 4.0 feet to an iron stake for corner; <br /> THENCE South 1 Degree 45 Minutes East a <br /> distance of 350 feet to an iron pin for corner; <br /> THENCE South 89 Degrees 31 Minutes West a <br /> distance of 302.2 feet to a point for corner; <br /> THENCE North 1 Degree 45 Minutes West a <br /> distance of 600 feet to a point in the South <br /> Boundary Line of U.S. Highway 82; <br /> THENCE North 89 Degrees 31 Minutes East a <br /> distance of 157 feet to the place of beginning. <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development <br /> of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to <br /> change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance <br /> with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use <br /> map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the <br /> provisions of this ordinance. <br /> Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in <br /> conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective <br /> immediately upon passage. <br />
