<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 87-071 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THF <br /> CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES <br /> ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CiTY; ESTABLISHING A <br /> PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI) ON LOTS 8, 8A <br /> AND 8B, CITY BLOCK 123, QN PROPERTY BELONGING TO THE LAMAR <br /> COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT, SO AS TO INCLUDE THFREIN <br /> TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C); <br /> AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE PUBLIC LANDS AND <br /> INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI) SO ESTABLISHED. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established <br /> by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of <br /> Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, <br /> and that a PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI), be, <br /> and the same is hereby established on LOTS 8, 8A AND 8B, <br /> CITY BLOCK 123, on property belonging to THE I,AMAR COUNTY <br /> APFR,AISAL DISTRICT, so as to include in such PUBLIC LANDS <br /> AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI) the hereinafter described <br /> property, which was forrnerly and is presently designated as <br /> a COMr:ERCIAL DISTRICT (C), and that the boundaries of said <br /> PUBLIC LANDS AND -LNSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI), be, and the <br /> same are hereby established as follows: <br /> SituatPd wLthin the corporate limits of the <br /> City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of <br /> Texas, and being part of the Larkin Rattan Survey <br /> #778, and bezng the same land conve_yed to E. P. <br /> Reese by deed recorded in Vol. 355, Page 90 and <br /> Vol. 336, Page 239 of the Deed Records of said <br /> County and State and being further described as <br /> follows: <br /> BEGINIlTING at an iron pin for corner in the <br /> South Boundary Line of Bonham Street and being the <br /> Northeast corner of the above mentioned tract of <br /> land, said point also being Westerly a distance of <br /> 247 feet from the West Boundary Line of 4th S.W.; <br /> THENCE South 1° 10' East a distance of 216.3 <br /> feet to an iror_ pin for corner in the North <br /> Boundary Line of Grand Ave. said point being <br /> Westerly a distance of 260 feet from the West <br /> Boundary Line of 4th S.W. Street; <br /> THENCE South 88° 13' West along the North <br /> Boundary Line of Grand Ave. a distance of 191.7 <br /> feet to an iron pin for corner; <br /> THENCE North 0° 20' East a distance of 217.5 <br /> feet to an iron pin for corner in the South <br /> Boundary Line of Bonham Street; <br /> THENCE North 88° 33' East along the South <br /> Line of Bonham Street, a distance of 186.0 feet to <br /> the place of beginning and containing 0.940 acre <br /> of land, more or less. <br /> Section 2. That the Director o£ Community Development <br /> of the City of Faz•is, be, and he is hereby directed to <br /> change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance <br /> with the pravisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use <br /> map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the <br /> provisiens of this ordinance. <br /> Section 3. Al1 ordinances and parts of ordinances in <br /> conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br />
