AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES
ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT-BILLBOARD
SIGN (52) ON LOT 2, BLOCK A, MORNINGSIDE NORTH ADDITION N0.
2, FORMERLY KNOWN AS PART OF LOT 10A, CITY BLOCK 313 BEFORE
FINAL PLAT, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO DAVID ROWE, SO AS TO
INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ; AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF
THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND SPEGIFIC USE
PERMIT-BILLBOARD SIGN (52) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT GRDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established
by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed,
and that a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND SPECIFIC USE
PERMIT-BILLBOARD SIGN (52), be, and the same is hereby
established on LOT 2, BLOCK A, MORNINGSIDE NORTH ADDITION
N0. 2, FORMERLY KNOWN AS PART OF LOT lOP., CITY BLOCK 313,
BEFORE FINAL PLAT, on property belonging to DAVID ROWE, so
as to include in such COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND SPECIFIC
USE PERMIT-BILLBOARD SIGN (52) the hereinafter described
property, whicYi was £ormerly and is presently designated as
a COMMERCIAL DISTAICT (C), and that the boundaries of said
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND SPECIFIC USE PER.MIT-BILLBOARD
SIGN (52), be, and the same are hereby established as
follows:
Situated within. the corporate limits of the
City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of
Texas, and being Lot. 2, Block A, Morningside North
Addition No. 2.
Section 2. That the Director of_ Community Development
of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to
change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance
with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use
map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the
provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. Al1 ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
zmmediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris, in regular session convened, in the Council Room,
City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 14th day of December,
1987.
