ORDINANCE N0. 87-075
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS
BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE REVISED TRAFFIC PARKING MAP
ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29-112 OF SAID CODE;
PROVIDING FOP. TWO HOUR PARALLEL PARKING ZONES; PROVIDING FOR
A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR
PAP.TS OR ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JANUARY l, 1988.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the Revised Traffic Parking Map
adopted in Paragraph (b) of Section 29-112 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended to
include Two Hour Parallel Parking Zones as follows:
"On the North side of Clarksville Street, in
the 300 block, five (5) parallel parking spaces
beginning at a point 171 feet East of the East
curb line of 3rd Street S. E.; thence East 107
feet."
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisians
of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misde-
meanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to
exceed $200.00.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conilict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
January 1, 1988.
