ORDINANCE N0. 87-076
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC-CONTROL DEVICE MAP
ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SFCTION 29-80 OF SAID CODE;
PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT; HEREWITH; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JANUARY 1, 1988.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That the Traffic-Control Device Map adopted
in Paragraph (b) of Section 29-80 of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of_ Paris be amended to include mandatory right-
turn-only lanes as iollows:
"Westbound in the North lane of Lamar Avenue
at North Main Street.
Westbound in the North lane of Pine Bluff
Street at North Main Street.
Southbound in the West lane of North Main
Street at Graham Street."
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions
of this orditiance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misde-
meanor, and upon coiiviction shall be fined in ar.y sum not to
exceed $200.00.
Section 3. Al1 ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
the lst day of Janua.ry, 1988.
