ORDINANCE N0. 87-077
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC-CONTROL DEVICE MAP
ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29-80 OF SAID CODE;
YROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL
QRDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT; HEREWITH; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JANUARY l, 1988.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the Traffic-Control Device Map adopted
in Paragraph (b) of Section 29-80 of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Paris be amended to include mandatory left-
turn-only lanes as follows:
"Inside lane a11 around the downtown Plaza.
Eastbound in the North lane of Graham Street
at North Main Street.
Westbound in the South lane of Bonham Street
at 7th S. W. Street.
Southbound in the East lane of lst S. W.
Street at West Sherman Street."
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions
of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misde-
meanor, and upon coziviction shall be fined in any sum not to
exceed $200.00.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Sectioii 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
the lst day of January, 1988.
