<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 87-084 <br /> <br /> Ard ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE F.XTENSION OF CERTAIN <br /> BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND THE <br /> ANNEXATION GF CERTAIN TERRITORY CQNSISTING OF 121.37 ACRES, <br /> MORE OR LESS, FIHICH IS LESS THAN TEN PERCENT (10%) OF THE <br /> TERRITORY INCLUDED WITHIN ITS PRESENT CITY LIMITS, WHICH <br /> SAID TERRITORY LIES ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT <br /> ROUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS; APPROV- <br /> ING SERVICE PLAN AND PROVIDING ZONING FOR SAID TERRITORr'. <br /> WHEREAS, public heari_ngs before the City Council of the <br /> City of Paris, Paris, Texas, where all interested persons <br /> were provided with an opportunity to be heard on the <br /> proposed annexation of the following described property: <br /> TRACT l: <br /> Situated in the F.noch Crow Survey, Lamar <br /> County, Texas and more particularly described as <br /> follows: <br /> BEGINNING at a point in the East boundary <br /> line of a tract of land conveyed to W. Elmer and <br /> Fleta Skidmore by deed recorded in Vol. 396, Page <br /> 418, Deed Records, Lamar Countv, Texas, said point <br /> bezng 500 feet North of and perpendicular to the <br /> North boundary line of U. S. Highway No. 82 and <br /> being in the present city limits line of the City, <br /> of Paris; <br /> THENCE North with the said East boundary line <br /> o~ said Skidmore tract, 300 feet more or less to <br /> the Northeast corner of said tract; <br /> THENCE West with tl-te North boundary line of <br /> said Skidmore tract and continuing West with the <br /> North boundary line of a tract of land owned by <br /> Donald R. L,ewis, et al, 510 feet more or less to <br /> the East boundary line of a 16.5 acre tract of <br /> land conveyed W. T. Ford by deed recorded in Vol <br /> 274, Page 499, Deed Records of Lamar County, <br /> Texas; <br /> THENCE South with the East boundary line of <br /> said Ford tract, 305 feet more or less to the <br /> Northeast corner of a tract of land conveyed to <br /> Zed Smith, III and Michael B. Smith by deed <br /> recorded in Vol 611, Page 12 and Vol. 626, Page <br /> 901, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas; <br /> THENCE West with the North boundary line of <br /> said Smith tract and continuing West along the <br /> North boundary li.nes of properties owned by <br /> Hi_i-liard and Sons, Inc., John Yerby and a tract <br /> owned by Hoyt and Char_li_ne Langley and Gerald and <br /> Nadine Farmer, 855 feet more or less to the <br /> Northwest corner of said Langley-Farmer tract, <br /> said point being in the East boundary line o.f 46th <br /> N.E. and being 764 feet North of and perpendicular <br /> to the North boundary line of U.S. Highway No 82; <br /> THENCE Westerly with a line that is 764 feet <br /> North of and parallel. with the North boundarv line <br /> of U.S. Highway No. 82, 1290 feet more or less to <br /> the center of_ a creek cahich runs North and South, <br /> saa_d pQint being in the present city limits line; <br /> THENCE Southerl_y with said center line of <br /> creek and the present city limit line, 310 feet <br /> more or less to its intersection with a line that <br /> is 500 feet North of and parallel with the North <br /> botindary line of U.S. Highway No. 82; <br /> THENCE Easterly with said line that is 500 <br /> feet North of and paral_lel with the North boundary <br /> line of U.
