AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE
AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 6-17 OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR
REQUIRED INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR AERONAUTICAI, PERMITTEES AT
COX FIELD, PARIS, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO
EXCFED $200.00; REPEAI.ING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDI-
NAIVCES IN CONFLICT HEPEWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE OF MAY l, 1986.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That Section 6-17 of the Code of Ordi-
nances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended by
relettering subparagraph (d) as subparagraph (e) and adding
new subparagraph (d) to read as follows:
"Sec. 6-17. Application for permit.
(d) All permittees shall have a minimum of
$100,000. for each person and $300,000. for each
single occurrence for bodily injury or death and
$100,000, for each single occurrence for injury to
or destruction of property insurance coverage with
the City of Paris being reflected as an additional
insured in their policies and additionally
permittees must meet or exceed insurance to meet
current State of Texas, FAA Rules and. Regulations
and Federal Law, if any, for their particular
activity or activities.

Section 2. Any person violating any of the pro-
visions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C"
Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum
not to exceed $200.00, and each and every day's continuance
of any violation of the above enumerated section shall
constitute and be deemed a separate offense.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
May 1, 1986.
