AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES
ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - AUTO
FUEL SALES (49) ON LOT 6-C, CITY BLOCK 315, ON PROPERTY
BELONGING TO D. WAYNE BROWN, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN
TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT
(GR) ; AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL
DISTRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - AUTO FUEL SALES (49)
SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established
by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed,
and that a GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE
PERMIT - AUTO FUEL SALES (49), be, and the same is hereby
established on LOT 6-C, CITY BLOCK 315, on property
belonging to D. WAYNE BROWN, so as to include in such
GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - AUTO
FUEL SALES (49) the hereinafter described property, which
was formerly and is presently designated as a GENERAL RETAIL
DISTRICT (GR), and that the boundaries of said GENERAL
RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - AUTO FUEL
SALES (49), be, and the same are hereby established as
follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the
City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of
Texas, and being si.tuated about 2 miles East of
the Courthouse, Paris, County of Lamar and State
of Texas, part of a 7.256 acre tract of land
conveyed High Anthony by Peggy Scott in Volume
450, Page 172; and being further described as
follows:
COMMENCING at an iron pin found for corner at
the intersection of the North Boundary Line of U.
S. Highway No. 82 and the East Boundary Line of
the above mentioned 7.256 acre tract of land, said
point being the Southeast corner of said tract,
said point also being in a curve to the left
having a radius of 3869.8 feet;
THENCE Westerly with said North Line and said
curve to the left having a long chord bearing
South 84 Degrees 24 Minutes West 159.99 feet an
arc distance of 160.00 feet to a found iron pin
for the place of beginning for this tract;
THENCE Westerly with said North Line and said
curve to the right having a long chord bearing
South 81 Degrees 47 Minutes West 140.00 feet, an
arc distance of 140.01 feet to an iron pin for
corner;
THENCE North 0 Degrees 52 Minutes West a
distance of 300 feet to an iron pin for corner;
THENCE North 82 Degrees 31 Minutes East a
distance of 140 fePt to an iron pin for corner;
THENCE South 0 Degrees 52 Minutes West a
distance of 300 feet to the place of beginning.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development
of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to
change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance
with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use
map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the
provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris, in regular session convened, in the Council Room,
City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 9th day of June, 1986.
