86-017 ORD PROVIDING CODE OF ORDINANCES BE AMENDED BY ADDING SECTION 18-30 TO SAID CODE ORDINANCE N0. 86-017 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY UF PARIS, BE AMENDED BY ADDING SECTION 18-30 TO SAID CODE; PROHIBITING ENTRY INTO THE OLD CEMETERY OF PARIS DURING CERTAIN HOURS; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF AUGUST 1, 1986. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That Section 18-30 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be added so that such shall read as follows: "Sec. 18-30. Hours of_ Old Cemetery of Paris. (a) It shall be unlawful for any person to enter or remain on the Old Cemetery of Paris commonly known as the Old City Cemetery, which is bounded on the North by the 500 block of West Cherry Street and on the West by the 400 block of 6th N. W. Street which runs from Graham Street North to West Cherry Street, between the hours of 8:00 o'clock P.M. and 8:00 o'clock A.M. during the months of May through September and between the hours of 6:00 o'clock P.M. and 8:00 o'clock P.M. during the months of October through April. (b) It shall be adefense to prosecution under this section if there were not adequate signs to give notice of the hours of which entry or occupancy is prohibited. (c) Any person violating any of the pro- visions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200.00, and each and every day's continuance of any violation of the above enumerated section shall constitute and be deemed a separate offense." Section 2.
