AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES
ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
PUELIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI) ON LOT 2-A,
CITY BLOCK 313 AS SHOWN ON PLAT OF SAID CITY BLOCK RECORDED
IN PLAT RECORDS, LAMAR COUNTY, TEXAS, ON PROPERTY BELONGING
TO FIRST FEDERAL SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION, SO AS TO
INCLUDE THEREIN TEP.RITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ; AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF
THE PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI) SO
ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established
by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed,
and that a PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI), be,
and the same is hereby established on LOT 2-A, CITY BLOCK
313 AS SHOWN ON PLAT OF SAID CITY BLOCK RECORDED IN PLAT
RECORDS, LAMAR COUNTY, TEXAS, on property belonging to FIRST
FEDERAL SAVIPdGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATIOrI, so as to include in
such PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI) the
hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is
presently designated as a COMMERCIAL llISTRICT (C), and that
the bcundaries of said PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS
DISTRICT (PLI), be, and the same are hereby established as
follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the
City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of
Texas, and being Lot 2-A, City Block 313 as shown
on plat of said City Block recorded in Plat
Records, Lamar County, Texas.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development
of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to
change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance
with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use
map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the
provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. Al1 ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become eff_ective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris, in reguiar session convened, in the Council Room,
City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 20th day af October,
1986.
