AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES
ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 1(MF-1) ON LOT 15, CITY
BLOCK 33-A, ON PROPF.RTY BELONGING TO MARION H. FORD, SO AS
TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A TWO
FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F); AND DESIGNATING THE
BOUNDARIES OF THE MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 1
(MF-1) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established
by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed,
and that a MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 1(MF-1), be,
and the same is hereby established on LOT 15, CITY BLOCK
33-A, on property belonging to MARION H. FORD, so as to
include in such MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 1(MF-1)
the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and
is presently designated as a TWO FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT
(2F), and that the boundaries of said MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING
DISTRICT N0. 1(MF-1), be, and the same are hereby
established as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the
City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of
Texas, and being a part of the Larkin Rattan
Survey in Paris, City Block 33, described as
follows, to-wit:
BEGINNING at the intersection of the NB line
of East Houston Street with the EB line of 13th
Street NE (formerly 31st or Magnolia Street);
THENCE EAST with the NB line of said East
Houston Street 122 feet, a stake;
THENCE NORTH 160 feet to a point;
THENCE WEST 122 feet to the EB line of 13th
Street NE;
THENCE SOUTH with the EB line of 13th Street
NE 160 feet to the place of beginning.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development
of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to
change the Zorting Map of the City of Paris in accordance
with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use
map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the
provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
contlict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris, in regular session convened, in the Council Room,
City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the lOth day of November,
1986.
