ORDINANCE N0. 86-049
AN ORDINANCE GF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE
AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 6-27 (2) (a) TO CHAPTER 6 OF
SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR A REDUCTION IN THE LIMIT OF PUBLIC
LIABILITY INSURANCE REQUIRED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO
EXCEED $200.00, EXCEPT THAT A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED
$1,000.00 IS IMPOSED FOR FIRE SAFETY OR ZONING VIOLATIONS;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JANUARY 1,
1987.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That Chapter 6 of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended by revising
Section 6-27 (2) (a), so that such shall read as iollows:
"Sec. 6-27. Airport tenant self service fueling
(2) The self fueler must provide insurance as
follows:
(a) Public Liability Insurance. Lessee
shall maintain in force throughout the terms
of this lease and any extension thereof
public liabili.ty insurance for personal
injury or death and property damage in the
minimum sum of One Million and No/100 dollars
($1,000,000.00) arising out of any one
accident or other cause, with the City of
Pari_s shown ta be an additiorial insured
thereon.

Section 2, Any person violating any of the pro-
visions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C"
Misdemeanor, and upon con.viction shall be fined in any sum
not to exceed $200 . 00 , except that a penalty not to exceed
$1,000.00, is imposed ror fire safety and zoning violations,
and each and every day's continuance of any violation of the
above enumerated section shall constitute and be deemed a
separate offense.
Section 3. Al1 ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
Januar.y 1, 1987.
