AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES
ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON LOT 1, BLOCK 1, STELLROSE
ADDITIUN, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO MRS. J. D. ASHLEY, SO AS
TO Ir1CLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE
FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNATING THE
BOUNDARIES OF TIiE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO
ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established
by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed,
ancl that a GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), be, and the same is
hereby estaUlished on LOT 1, BLOCK 1, STELLROSE ADDITION, on
property belonging to MRS. J. D. ASHLEY, so as to include in
such GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) the hereinafter described
property, which was formerly and is presently designated as
a ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 2(SF-2), and that the
boundaries of said GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), be, and the
same are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the
City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of
Texas, and being Lot 1, Block l, Stellrose
Addition.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development
of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to
change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance
with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use
map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the
provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
irimediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris, in regular session convened, in the Council Room,
City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the llth day of March,
1985.
