85-009 ORD AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE AND CHANGING BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY ON LOT 3 AND ALL OF LOT 4 CITY BLOCK 266 ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO EARL BELLAMY ORDINANCE N0. 85-009 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON PART OF LOT 3 AND ALL OF LOT 4, CITY BLOCK 266, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO EARL BELLAMY, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 3(SF-3); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same is hereby established on PART OF LOT 3 AND ALL OF LOT 4, CITY BLOCK 266, on property belonging to EARL BELLAMY, so as to include in such COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 3(SF-3), and that the boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and being a part of the Reddin Russell and Hiram Williar.is Surveys within the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas and being part of the same property deeded from the Sanitarium of Paris to L. G. Glasscock and wife, Lena G. Glasscock, dated July 18, 1952, and recorded in Volume 325, Page 580, Lamar County Deed Records; also being part of the same property described in deed from Selby Pierce and wife to L. G. Glasscock and wife dated December 17, 1963, and recorded in Volume 410, Page 137, of Lamar County Deed Records and described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the North right-of way line of F.M. Highway 195, said point being the most southerly southeast corner of said Glasscock tract; THENCE South 78°14'W along said North right-of-way line of F.M. 195, a distance of 298.1 feet to a point; THENCE South 76°05'W along said right-of-way line, a distance of 80.2 feet to a point in the North boundary line of Martin Luther King, Jr., Drive; THENCE North 81°51'W with said North boundary line, 297.0 feet to a point; THENCE North 6°45'E, a distance of 310.0 feet to a point; THENCE North 81°51'W, a distance of 98.0 feet to a point; THErdCE North 6°45'E, a distance of 735.5 feet to a point; THENCE North 81°51'W, a distance of 270.0 feet to a point in the West boundary line of said Glasscock tract; THENCE i3orth 6°45'W along said West boundary line, a distance of 607.0 feet to the most westerly northwest corner of said tract; THENCE South 83°47'E, a distance of 662.2 feet to a point; THENCE North 6°53'E, a distance of 184.7 feet to the Southwest corner of Lot 3D, City Block 266; THENCE South 51°20'E, a distance of 297.3 feet to a point; THENCE South 23°45'E, a distance of 188.7 feet to a point; THENCE South 58°26'E, a distance of 240.8 feet to a point in the East boundary line of said Glasscock tract; THENCE South 7°31'W, a distance of 379.9 feet to a point; THENCE North 84°14'W, a distance of 210.0 feet to the Northeast corner of Lot 4, City Block 266; THENCE S 10°35'E, a distance of 248.0 feet to the place of beginning. Section 2. That the zoning herein granted is conditioned upon the requirement to construct a screening barrier between the commercial development and existing residential areas. Section 3. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use Map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 4. Al1 ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage. Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris, in regular session convened, in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the llth day of rZarch, 1985.
