ORDINANCE N0. 85-014
AN ORDINAPZCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS
BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC NO-PARKING MAP ADOPTED IN
PARAGRAPH (c) OF SECTION 29-112 OF SAID CODE; ESTABLISHING A
N0 PARKING AREA: PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED
$200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OR ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOP. AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF
MAY l, 1985.
BE IT ORDAIPdED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That the Traffic No Parking Map adopted in
Paragraph (c) of Section 29-112 of the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended to include the
following No Parking area:
"On the West side of 24th Street, S. E., from
250 feet South of the South curb line of East Polk
Street, South 115 feet to the existing no parking
area.
On both sides of lOth Street, S. E., from the
South curb line of Clarksville Street, South to
the North curb line of East Austin Street."
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions
of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor,
and upon conviction shall be fined in any surn not to exceed
$200.00.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
May 1, 1985.
