ORDINANCE N0. 85-017
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS
BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC PARKING MAP ADOPTED IN
PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29-112 OF SAID CODE; ESTABLISHING A
30-MINiJTE PARKING ZONE; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO
EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINAPZCES OR PARTS OR ORDI-
NANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE OF NIAY 1, 1985.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the Traffic Parking Map adopted in
Paragraph (b) of Section 29-112 of the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended to include the
following 30-Minute Parking Zone:
"On the North side of East Kaufrnan Street, in
the 100 Block, one (1) parking space
beginning at a point 22 feet from the East
boundary line of lst S.E. Street; thence East
20 feet."
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions
of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor,
and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed
$200.00.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
May l, 1985.
