AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES
ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS) ON LOT 9, CITY BLOCK
72-C, Ord PROPERTY BELONGING TO GUSSIE PRESTON, SO AS TO
INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A TWO
FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F); AND DESIGNATING THE
BOUNDARIES OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS) SO
ESTABLiSHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established
by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed,
and that a NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS), be, and the
same is hereby established on LOT 9, CITY BLOCK 72-C, on
property belonging to GUSSIE PRESTON, so as to include in
such NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS) the hereinafter
described property, which was formerly and is presently
designated as a TWO FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F), and that
the boundaries of said NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS),
be, and the same are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the
City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of
Texas, and being a part of the Isaiah Davis
Survey, within the corparate limits of the City of
Paris, and being a part of City Block No. 72 on
the West side of 7th Street N.E., formerly North
25th Street; Beginning 40 feet South of the SE
corner of a lot sold to Powhattan Littlejohn by T.
S. Thrasher and wife;
THENCE South 50 feet, a stake;
THENCE West 200 feet more or less, to Monk
Sutton's EB line;
THENCE North with the EB line of said
Sutton's Lot, 50 feet, a stake within 40 feet of
said Littlejohn's SW corner;
THE13CE East 200 feet, more or less, to the
place of beginning.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development
of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to
change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance
with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use
map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the
provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. Al1 ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council ot the City of
Paris, in .regular session convened, in the Council koom,
City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 13th day of May, 1985.
