AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES
ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
PLANNED DEVELOPMENT-RETAIL DISTRICT (PD-a) ON LOTS 9 AND 9B,
CITY BLOCK 220-A, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO CREIGHTON
PICKERING AND ROBERT BRYANS, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN
TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A TWO FAMILY DWELLING
DISTRICT (2F); APiD DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE PLANNED
DEVELOPMENT-R.ETAIL DISTRICT (PD-a) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established
by the Zoning rlap and Urdinance No. 1710 of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed,
and that a PLANNED DEVELOPMENT-RETAIL DISTRICT (PD-a), be,
and the same is hereby established on LOTS 9 AND 9B, CTTY
BLOCK 220-A, on property belonging to CREIGHTON PICKERING
AND ROBERT BRYANS, so as to include in such PLANNED
DEVELOPMENT-RETAIL DISTRICT (PD-a) the hereinafter described
property, which was formerly and is presently designated as
a TWO FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F), and that the boundaries
of said PLANNED DEVELOPMENT-RETAIL DISTRICT (PD-a), be, and
the same are hereby established as follows:
Situated within. the corporate limits of the
City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of
Texas, and being LOTS 9 AND 9B, CITY BLOCK 220-A.
Section 2. That the zoning herein granted is
conditioned upon the submission of a Site Plan in
accordance with Section 8-302 of Ordinance No. 1710,
which after full compliance with the procedure
established in Section 21 of said Ordinance No. 1710,
must be approved by the City Council prior to the
issuance of any building permits.
Section 3. That the Director of Community Development
of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to
change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance
with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use
map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the
provisions of this ordinance.
Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris, in regular session convened, in the Council Room,
City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the lOth day of June, 1985.
