AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY UF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE
AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 29-115(c) OF SAID CODE; PRO-
VIDING FOR 90° ANGLE PARKIh1G AND THE PLACEMENT OF PREFAB-
RICATED CONCRETE STOPPERS IN LIEU OF CURB AND GUTTER FOR
SIDEWALK PROTECTION; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEEll
$200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDIPIANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FUR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF
AUGUST 1, 1985.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That Section 29-115(c) of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended by
adding thereto the following:
"Sec. 29-115 Parallel and angle parking.
(c) . . . The Holy Cross Episcopal Church
is permittedto provide 90° angle parking in the
300 block of lst S. E. Street and is permitted to
protect the sidewalks at the perimeter of such
angle parking with pretabricated concrete stoppers
in lieu of the above requirements for curb and
gutter."
Section 2. Any person violating any of the pro-
visions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C"
Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum
not to exceed $200.00, and each and every day's continuance
of any violation of the above enumerated section shall
constitute and be deemed a separate of_fense.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
August 1, 1985.
