AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXA5 AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES
ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
OFFICE DISTRICT (0) ON LOT 4, CITY BLOCK 182-A, ON PROPERTY
BELONGING TO MARSHALL K. DOUGHERTY, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN
TERRITORY FORAZERLY DESIGNATED AS A MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING
DISTRICT NO. 1(MF-1); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE
OFFICE DISTRICT (0) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established
by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed,
and that a OFFICE DISTRICT (0), be, and the same is hereby
established on LOT 4, CITY BLOCK 182-A, on property
belonging to MARSHALL K. DaUGHERTY, so as to include in such
OFFICE DISTRICT (0) the hereinafter described property,
which was formerly and is presently designated as a
MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 1(MF-1), and that the
boundaries of said OFFICE DISTRICT (0), be, and the same are
hereby established as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the
City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of
Texas, and being Lot 4, City Block 182-A and
further described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the west boundary
line of 6th S.E., said point being south, 388 feet
from the south boundary line of Clarksville Street
and said point being the northeast corner of said
Lot 4, City Block 182-A;
THENCE South with said west boundary line of
6th S.E., 52.5 feet to the southeast corner of
said Lot 4;
THENCE West, 186 feet ta a point, the
southwest corner of said Lot 4;
THENCE North, 52.5 feet to a point, the
northwest corner of said Lot 4;
THENCE East, 186 feet to the place of
beginning.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development
of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to
change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance
with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use
map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the
provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris, in regular session convened, in the Council Room,
City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 12th day of August,
1985.
