STREET AND EAST OF 14TH N.W. STREET; <br /> BEGINNING AT THE NORTH BOUNDARY LINE OF COOPER STREET AND <br /> THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF LOT 1, BLOCK 1, LOOKE ADDITION AND <br /> THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF LOT 22, BLOCK 1, LOOKE ADDITION; <br /> THENCE NORTH APPROXIMATELY 513 FEET TO THE NORTHWEST CORNER <br /> OF LOT 11, BLOCK 1, LOOKE ADDITION AND THE NORTHEAST CORNER <br /> OF LOT 12, BLOCK l, LOOKE ADDITION TO THE SOUTH BOUNDARY <br /> LINE OF WEST HENDERSON STREET; DECLARING NO NECESSITY OR <br /> NEED OF SAID ALLEY FOR CITY USE OTHER THAN FOR A UTILITY <br /> EASEMENT, WHICH IS EXPRESSLY RETAINED BY THE CITY OF PARIS; <br /> AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF OCTOBER 14, 1985. <br /> WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the <br /> City Council of the City of Paris, that an alley, running <br /> North and South from Cooper Street North to West Henderson <br /> Street, being West of 13th N.W. Street and East of 14th N.W. <br /> Street; Beginning at the North Boundary Line of Cooper <br /> Street and the Southwest corner of Lot l, Block l, Looke <br /> Addition and the Southeast corner of Lot 22, Block l, Looke <br /> Addition; THENCE North approximately 513 feet to the <br /> Northwest corner of Lot 11, Block 1, Looke Addition and the <br /> Northeast corner of Lot 12, Block l, Looke Addition to the <br /> South Boundary Line of West Henderson Street, is of no use <br /> as an alley or street to the City of Paris or to its <br /> citizens, but is of use and necessary to the City of Paris <br /> and its citizens for utility easement purposes, and the City <br /> Council so finds; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> Section l. That the alley, running North and South <br /> from Cooper Street North to West Henderson Street, being <br /> West of 13th N.W. Street and East of 14th N.W. Street; <br /> Beginning at the North Boundary Line of Cooper Street and <br /> the Southwest corner of Lot l, Block l, Looke Addition and <br /> the Southeast corner of Lot 22, Block l, Looke Addition; <br /> THENCE North approximately 513 feet to the Northwest corner <br /> of Lot 11, Block l, Looke Addition and the Northeast corner <br /> of Lot 12, Block 1, Looke Addition to the South Boundary <br /> Line of West Henderson Street, is hereby closed, with the <br /> City of Paris retaining a utility easement. <br /> Section 2.
