84-012 ORD PROVIDING CODE OF ORDINANCES BE AMENDED BY ADDING THERETO SECTION 15-24 OF SAID CODE
ORDINANCE NO. 84-012
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING THAT THE CODF OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE
AMETdDED BY ADDING THERETO SECTION 15-24 OF SAID COUE;
PROVIDING FOR THE RELEASE OF LIED1 UPON THE PAYMENT OF
EXPENSES CHARGED AGAINST SUCH PROPERTY AND ACCRUED INTERFST;
REPEALIPIG ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF FEBRUARY
13, 1984.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS;
Section l. That the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended by adding Section 15-24,
to read as follows:
"Sec. 15-24. Release of Lien.
Upon the payments of the charges described in
Section 15-22 and the interest accrued thereon,
the City Manager of the City of Paris is autho-
rized to execute on behalf of the City of Paris a
release of lien in the form approved by the City
Attorney of the City of Paris."
Section 2. All ordinances ar parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective on
February 13, 1984.
