ORDINANCE N0. 84-016
AN ORDINAr1CE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES
ESTAELISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON LOT l, BLOCK A, JUBILEE
ADDITION, ON PROPERTY EELONGING TO PARIS JAYCEES, SO AS TU
INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE
FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0, 2 (SF-2); AND DESIGNATING THE
BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RF.TAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO
ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretafore established
by the Zoning Map and Ordinance D?o. 1710 ot the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed,
and that a GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), be, and the same is
hereby established on LOT 1, BLOCK A, JUBILEE ADDITION, on
property belonging ta PARIS JAYCEES, so as to include in
such GENERAL KETAIL DISTIZICT (GR) the hereinafter described
property, whicr was formerly and is presently desi.gnated as
a ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 2(SF-2), and that the
beundaries of said GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), be, and the
same are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the
City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of
Texas, and being Lot 1, Block A, Jubilee Addition
to the City af Paris as shown on plat of said
addition of record in Plat Records, Lamar County,
Texas.
Section 2. That the Director of Cominunity Development
of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to
change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance
with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use
r.lap accompanying the same, ar_d in accordance with the
provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordi_nances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
Pa.ssed and adopted by the Cit_y Council of the City of
Paris, in regular session convened, in the Council Room,
City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 13th day of February,
1984.
