ORDINANCE N0. 84-020
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A 20 MILE PER HOUR SPEED
LIMIT ON CERTAIrI PORTIONS OF SOUTH COLLEGIATE DRIVE AND
CLARK LANE; PROVIDING FOR A FINE NOT TO EXCEED $200.00;
REPEALING ALL ORDINAPICES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF APRIL 1,
1984.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
5ection 1. That a speed Iimit of 30 miles per hour
shall be in effect on those portions of the streets herein-
after described, other that between the hours of 7:15 A.M.
to 8:15 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. to 3:30 P.M., which will be
brought to the attention of motorist by means of signs, at
which tiMe a speed limit ef 20 Miles per hour shall be in
effect.
"South Co1lPgiate Drive, from the South curb
line of East Hubbard Street, Scuth to the South
curb line of Clark Lane.
C1a.rk Lane, from the East curb line of South
Collegiate Drive, East to the East curb line of
Johnson Woods Drive.".
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions
of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misde-
meanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to
exceed $200.00.
Section 3. Al1 ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
April 1, 1984.
