AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES
ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) UN PART OF LOT l, CITY BLOCK 319, ON
PROPERTY BELONGING TO ERIC S. CLIFFORD, SU AS TO INCLUDE
THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL
DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNUARIES OF THE C0114ER-
CIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUT3CIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That the bounda.ries heretofore established
by the Zonin.g Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed,
and that a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same is
hereby established on PART OF LOT 1, CITY BLOCK 319, on
property belonging to ERIC S. CLIFFORD, so as to include in
such COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter described
property, which was formerly and is presently designated as
an AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A), and that the boundaries of
said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same are herPby
established as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the
City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of
Texas, and being further described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the South boundary
line of FM Highway PJo. 195, said point being N 50°
35'E, 416.4 feet from the F.ast boundary line of
Loop Highieay No. 286 Td . E.;
THENCE N 50° 35' E, with the South boundary
line of F.M. 195, a distance of 452.6 feet to a
point for corner;
THENCE S 1° 00' W, a distance of 704.3 feet
to a point;
THENCE P3 64°30' W, a distance of 314.0 feet
to a point;
THENCE N 50° 35'E, a distance of 137.9 feet
to a point;
THENCE N 39° 25' W, a distance of 250 feet to
the place of beginning and containing 3.225 acres
of land
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development
of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to
change the Zoning Ma.p of the City of Paris in accordance
with the provision.s of Ordinar.ce No. 1710 and the land use
map accoLnpanyirg the same, and in accordance with the
provisions of this ordinance.
5ection 3. All erdinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
ir.tmediately upon passage.

Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris, in regulax session convened, in the Counci-l Room,
City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 12th day of March,
1984.
