AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES
ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
LIGHT IPdDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI ) ON LOTS 12 AND 13, BLOCK 1,
SMITH'S SECOND ADDITION AND LOZ' 17, CITY BLOCK 251-A, ON
PROPERTY BELONGING TO R. L. NiCiGRE, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN
TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT
(LI) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - RENDERING PLANT; AND
DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT
(LI) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GTTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established
by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed,
and that a LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI), be, and the same
is hereby established on LOTS 12 AND 13, BLOCK l, SMITH'S
SECOND ADDITION AND LOT 17, CITY BLOCK 251-A, on property
belonging to R. L. MQGRE, so as tc include in such LIGHT
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) the hereinafter described property,
which was formerly and is presently designated as a LIGHT
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - RENDERING
PLANT, and that the boundaries of said LIGHT INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT (LI), be, and the same are hereby established as
follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the
City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of
Texas, and being Lots 12 and 13, Block l, Smith's
Second Addition as shown on plat of said addition
of record in Plat Records, Lamar County, Texas and
Lot 17, City Block 251-A.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development
of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to
change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance
with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use
map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the
provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris, in regular session convened, in the Council Room,
City Hall, Paris, Texas, cn this the llth day of June, 1984.
